Bobfest is a conference that will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, 24-26 March 2000. The idea is that young people can meet, get to know eachother and hear some great teaching from Pastor Bob Beeman, USA. We wish Bobfest to be an antipole to all the darkness and negativity there is in the world today, and show the way to a better life without drugs and violence.
Bobfest is also a festival where the music is of great importance. Hardrock/metal/hardcore bands from Sweden, Norway and Finland make this festival a great opportunity for music lovers from all the Nordic countries to enjoy the best Scandinavian music!
Of course you are welcome to join the concerts without attending the conference, but we believe Bob has something to say to you even if you're not a Christian.
Bobfest was first arranged in 19-21 March 1999 and has now become an annual event. It was a really successful festival, although there were some technical problems. We believe the next Bobfest will be even better and you are all welcome to join us!
Practical information
Location: The place for the conference is Filadelfia in Stockholm. Here all bible studies and also the Friday night concert will be held.
The Saturday night concert will take place at Klubben, a division of Fryshuset.
Dates and times:
Friday 24 March:
Tickets: The tickets will cost 200 SEK (about $23.50) for the whole weekend, including concerts. The concert tickets alone will cost 50 SEK each.
Conference info: Pastor Bob Beeman will speak during the conference. Jim LaVerde (ex Barren Cross) and Sons of Thunder will lead worship.
Accomodation: If you want somewhere to sleep, you can stay at a place for max 50 SEK a night (the prize is not definite yet). Don't forget to bring your sleeping bags!
Note: If you want to have a place to stay, you need to register below so we know how many who need accomodation. Register before March 5th!
Bus travels: We are happy to reveal that plans of bus journeys to Bobfest are forming. Take this chance to come to Bobfest easily and to support the guys who arrange these travels.
