| It's with great
satisfaction we give to you... EXTOL! Playing Bobfest for the third time, they hardly need an introduction. The past few years have seen them earn a status as one of the most innovative and sought after bands in the metal industry. After two highly acclaimed full length albums, two EPs and a 7" vinyl on Sweden's No. 1 hard music label - Endtime Productions - Extol landed a contract with Century Media, who released their latest cd - Synergy - in the summer of 2003. After this fall's very successful tour with Opeth, Extol is eager and ready to once again blow Linköping away with their beautiful harmonies, their primal raw energy and their musical mastership! The question is... Are you ready to see THEM? Lights... Action... EXTOL! |

| Harmony is an
excellent melodic metal band from Borås. The band was founded by
Markus Sigfridsson and Tobias Enbert in 2000. With
Henrik Båth, Magnus Holmberg and Andreas Olsson the line-up was complete. They soon got signed by Massacre Records, their debut album "Dreaming Awake" was released last summer and it has received great response all over the world. Harmony makes wonderful melodies and great hooks, to hear them play is like being in the middle of a melodic metal feast. Markus Sigfridsson is truly a talented guitarplayer and if you like Carl-Johan Grimmark or Yngwie Malmsteen you will love this band. We are honoured to have Harmony playing at Bobfest, since they are one of the best new metal bands that have come up for years. If you like melodic metal you will be blown away by this talented band! So rejoice all melodic metalheads and let the feast begin! |

| You all asked for
it... you've got it. After too many years of aching silence, Antestor once again reemerges to blast us all away with their beautifully brutal and atmospheric Norwegian blackmetal. All of us who've heard the pre-release track on Endtime Productions' outstanding "Come Armageddon" knows it's for real - Antestor is BACK, no doubt about it. The band was initially formed all the way back in 1990, and has through different line-ups produced two praised full-length albums, and last year a very appreciated limited release of their oldest material saw the light of day. Antestor is a most beloved and longed-for metal act, and this will also be the release gig for their newly recorded EP! "Det Tapte Liv" is scheduled to be released in April but it will be available in a special pre-release just for Bobfest!! |

| Fresh from Oslo's
musical melting pot; we give you: Benea Reach! With their roots in Swedish hardcore combined with the Norwegian metal traditions spiced up with electronic soundmanipulation, they have found a rich and powerful flavour, served with the salty sweat from their intense live performance. The band was formed late 2002 and has already toured Europe and played at festivals like the Chaos-festival in the Netherlands. Feturing members from such legendary bands as Lengsel, Extol, Selfmindead, Tsunami and Loch Ness Mouse, there is no doubt that Benea Reach soon will be a name on everybody’s lips... |

| This time Bobfest
goes truly international, as we welcome the first Asian metal band to
visit our Nordic realms. In a unique cooperation with the outstanding
Dutch label Fear Dark, we present Kekal from Indonesia. Kekal originated back in 1995, but became known to the scene in 1998 when their first album "Beyond The Glimpse Of Dreams" hit the shelves. Over the years, Kekal has released four full-length albums, a split CD with Slechtvalk, and a "Best of..." album, so even if it's the first time this progressive extreme metal piece breaks out of the Asian borders and grants Europe a visit, they are certainly no strangers to the scene. This is an event you don't want to miss! |

| Hailing from
Finland, Oratorio gives new hope to all who love melodic metal. Oratorio's style of music can be described as melodic heavy/power metal and their sound is like a mix between Stryper and Seventh Avenue. They recently released their critically acclaimed debut CD entitled "The Reality Of Existence" on Rivel Records. Oratorio has a great live show and has already played over 60 gigs. Intense riffing, fast drums, shredding guitar solos, hooks and a powerful message is what you will experience when this band plays live. This will be Oratorio's first concert ever in Sweden and we are honoured to introduce this great band to you! Melodic metal is back and Oratorio shows that it's here to stay. Don't miss the opportunity to check out the new wonder of Christian Metal! |

| This is not
hardcore. This is not heavy metal. This is pure genuine punk the way God intended it to be. Tekla Knös is back on the Bobfest stage once again, to serve you a reckless punk frenzy seldom seen before. Tekla Knös has been THE punk band of the Scandinavian underground scene for several years, and we are proud to welcome them back to Bobfest, with new material just waiting to be released. Don't sit back and enjoy... get out there and rock! |

| When most people
think of Scandinavia, they think of winter, woods and hopefully blackmetal! From the ashes of what once was Allsherjar, a new blackmetal act is rising called Shadows of Paragon, and - in good Bobfest tradition - we are proud to present to you this latest finding of the Swedish underground. Shadows of Paragon hail from the very Southern part of Sweden, however their metal is as frost-bitten as any other Nordic act. Awaiting their first release, Shadows of Paragon has recorded a couple of songs for an upcoming EP and have played a few concerts. Bobfest will be their first major appearance. We predict it won't be the last! |
